ความเป็นมาและวิสัยทัศน์ ของ MSDA

สถาบันวิจัยและพัฒนาบุคลากรด้านมัลติมีเดีย มาสซ์ (ประเทศไทย) หรือ MAS (Thailand) Multimedia Skills Research and Development Academy (MSDA) ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2567 (ค.ศ. 2024) โดยเริ่มต้นจากการเป็นผู้ให้บริการระบบภาพ แสง สี เสียง และงานวีดีโอโปรดักชั่น ในชื่อ MAS (Thailand) ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2551 (ค.ศ. 2008) ซึ่งต่อมาได้เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการพัฒนาทักษะด้านมัลติมีเดียที่มีบทบาทสำคัญในยุคดิจิทัล จึงขยายบริการเข้าสู่การพัฒนาหลักสูตรการฝึกอบรมที่ตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของตลาดแรงงานในด้านนี้อย่างครบวงจร

สถาบันยังมุ่งมั่นในการสร้างสรรค์คอร์สที่ทันสมัย เน้นการลงมือปฏิบัติจริงและการเรียนรู้จากหน้างานจริง เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนมีความเข้าใจและสามารถประยุกต์ใช้ความรู้ได้จริงในสถานการณ์การทำงาน นอกจากนี้ MSDA ยังให้ความสำคัญกับการพัฒนาความคิดสร้างสรรค์และนวัตกรรม เพื่อสร้างผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านมัลติมีเดียที่มีคุณภาพสูงและพร้อมตอบสนองความท้าทายของโลกยุคใหม่

เป้าหมายของ MSDA:

  • พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์และบริการมัลติมีเดียที่สร้างสรรค์และตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของอุตสาหกรรม
  • ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นที่จะเป็นสถาบันที่ก้าวทันเทคโนโลยี MAS (Thailand) ยังมีแผนพัฒนาหลักสูตรใหม่ ๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเน้นการใช้ปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) และความจริงเสมือน (VR) ในการเรียนการสอน เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนสามารถเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับการทำงานในอุตสาหกรรมที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอยู่เสมอ

Background & Vision of MSDA

The Multimedia Skills Research and Development Academy (MSDA), under MAS (Thailand), was established in 2024 (B.E. 2567). Its foundation traces back to MAS (Thailand), founded in 2008 (B.E. 2551), which began as a provider of professional visual, lighting, audio, and video production services. Recognizing the growing importance of multimedia skills in the digital era, the organization expanded its services to develop comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of today’s workforce.

Driven by a vision to become a center of excellence in the multimedia industry, MSDA is committed to advancing modern multimedia knowledge—covering media production technologies, production system management, and professional AV operations—to empower individuals pursuing careers in this field.

MSDA focuses on developing practical, hands-on course experiences combined with real-world training, enabling learners to apply their skills confidently in professional environments. The academy also emphasizes creativity and innovation to cultivate high-quality multimedia professionals equipped for the challenges of a rapidly evolving digital world.

มาสซ์ (MAS) ชื่อนี้ถูกใช้ครั้งแรกตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2008 ในชื่อเดิมว่า มาสุข แอดวานซ์ โซลูชั่น (MASUK ADVANCE SOLUTION) ก่อตั้งโดย คุณพิชญกาล พิศพล มาสุข ดำเนินธุรกิจเกี่ยวกับคอมพิวเตอร์และโปรแกรมมิ่ง ซึ่งช่วงนั้นเป็นช่วงที่ธุรกิจ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอินเตอร์เน็ตกำลังได้รับความนิยมเป็นอย่างสูงในประเทศไทย เราให้บริการเขียนโปรแกรม ออกแบบเว็บไซต์ และดูแลระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ ให้กับหน่วยงานต่างๆ กิจการดำเนินไปได้ด้วยดีจนถึงช่วงปลายปี ค.ศ. 2009 คู่แข่งทางธุรกิจเยอะขึ้น และมีการแข่งขันด้านราคา ทำให้ราคากลางตกต่ำลงมาก จนทำให้เราไม่สามารถดำเนินกิจการต่อไปได้อีก และปิดกิจการลงในที่สุด

ในช่วงต้นปี ค.ศ. 2010 คุณพิชญกาล พิศพล มาสุข ได้นำชื่อ “มาสซ์” กลับมาใช้อีกครั้งหนึ่ง ด้วยรูปแบบธุรกิจที่แปลกใหม่ และคู่แข่งทางธุรกิจยังมีน้อย คือธุรกิจด้านวีดีโอโปรดักชั่น ต้นทุนเราเริ่มจากศูนย์อย่างแท้จริง ในราคาจ้างงานแรกเพียงไม่กี่ร้อยบาท ด้วยการเช่ากล้องวีดีโอมาใช้ถ่ายทำ โดยคุณพิชญกาล มีพื้นฐานมาจากความชอบ และรักด้านการถ่ายภาพเป็นต้นทุนอยู่แล้ว จึงทำให้เรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์จริงได้รวดเร็วและพัฒนาเป็นองค์ความรู้ของตนเองในที่สุด ทำให้ลูกค้าเกิดความพึงพอใจในผลงานที่เกินความคาดหมาย และเกิดการบอกต่อกันไปเรื่อยๆ ผสานกับคุณพิชญกาล มีความรู้ด้านคอมพิวเตอร์และเว็บไซต์ จึงได้ทำเว็บไซต์ช่วยโปรโมทและขยายฐานลูกค้าอีกทางหนึ่ง

ในปี ค.ศ. 2012 มาสซ์ ได้รับว่าจ้างจาก องค์การการศึกษาวิทยาศาสตร์และวัฒนธรรมแห่งสหประชาชาติ หรือยูเนสโก้ (UNESCO) ให้เป็นผู้ผลิตวีดีทัศน์ ในหัวข้อ “ประเทศไทย” เพื่อนำไปจัดแสดง ในการประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติที่ประเทศเยอรมัน ซึ่งเป็นงานที่สร้างโอกาสและชื่อเสียงในเวทีระดับโลกให้กับมาสซ์ และเป็นโอกาสในการขยายฐานลูกค้าออกไปทั่วประเทศทำให้เราได้มีโอกาสทำงานที่แปลกใหม่ ท้าทายและยากขึ้นกว่าเดิม

มาสซ์ได้เข้าสู่วงการผลิตรายการโทรทัศน์ ในช่วงปลายปี ค.ศ. 2012 รายการโทรทัศน์ที่เรา ได้มีโอกาสถ่ายทำ คือรายการท่องเที่ยวของคุณ Somaya El K. จากประเทศสหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์ หลังจากนั้น 2 ปี เราได้เก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์ด้านการผลิตรายการโทรทัศน์มาอย่างต่อเนื่อง จนในที่สุด มาสซ์ได้จัดตั้งสถานีโทรทัศน์ออนไลน์เป็นของตนเอง ในชื่อ “คัลเลอร์แชแนล” (Color Channel) ในปี ค.ศ. 2014 และรายการโทรทัศน์ทุกรายการในช่องผลิตโดยทีมงานของมาสซ์ทั้งหมด

มาสซ์ได้ยกระดับเป็นแบรนด์อินเตอร์ ระดับเอเชีย ด้วยการขยายฐานไปกว่า 10 ประเทศในอาเซี่ยน และตั้งสำนักงานในประเทศสิงคโปร์ ซึ่งเป็นประเทศเศรษฐกิจที่สำคัญ อันดับต้นๆของโลก สอดคล้องกับนโยบายการเปิดประชาคมอาเซี่ยน ในปี ค.ศ. 2015 ได้อย่างพอดี

ในวันนี้ ภาพลักษณ์ของมาสซ์ จะกลายเป็นแบรนด์ระดับอินเตอร์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ มีทีมงานอยู่ทั่วประเทศ แต่หลักในการดำเนินธุรกิจของเราไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง นั่นคือ “ยึดหลักความพอเพียง” ตามแบบฉบับพ่อหลวงของเรา ผลงานที่ผ่านมา จะเป็นหลักประกันได้ว่า งานทุกชิ้นที่ทำต้องออกมาดีมีคุณภาพ ดั่งปรัชญาของเรา คือ “ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ผสานกับความเป็นมืออาชีพอย่างลงตัว”

The name MAS was first introduced in 2008 under the original company name MASUK ADVANCE SOLUTION, founded by Pitchayakarn Pitsaphol Masuk, providing computer and programming services during a period when internet-related businesses were rapidly expanding in Thailand. The company offered software development, web design, and IT system support for various organizations. Operations progressed well until late 2009, when competition increased and market prices dropped significantly, making it unsustainable to continue. The business was eventually closed.

In early 2010, Pitchayakarn Pitsaphol Masuk revived the name “MAS” with a completely new direction video production, an industry with few competitors at the time. Starting from zero, with the first paid project valued at only a few hundred baht and using a rented video camera, he quickly built expertise through hands-on experience, driven by a passion for photography and visual storytelling. Clients were impressed by results that exceeded expectations, leading to rapid word-of-mouth growth. Combined with his background in computer and web development, MAS was able to expand its reach through online promotion.

In 2012, MAS was commissioned by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to produce a video titled “Thailand” for presentation at an international conference in Germany. This milestone brought global recognition and opened doors to new opportunities across the country, allowing MAS to take on more challenging and high-profile projects.

Later in 2012, MAS entered the television production industry, filming a travel program for Somaya El K. from the United Arab Emirates. Over the next two years, MAS gained extensive experience in TV production and eventually launched its own online television channel, Color Channel, in 2014—producing all programs in-house.

By 2015, MAS expanded beyond Thailand into more than 10 ASEAN countries and established an office in Singapore, one of the world’s leading economic hubs. This expansion aligned perfectly with the formation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).

Today, MAS continues to grow into a prominent international brand with team members across the country. Yet, the company’s core values remain unchanged—rooted in the philosophy of sufficiency and sustainability, inspired by Thailand’s beloved King.
